Overview

Player Mobs is a Datapack for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.21.x. This Datapack adds new mobs in the form or Player Mobs. These are normal monsters with player heads, armor and their own loot table. There are nine Player Mobs in total, consisting or all default skins in the game.
There is a 5% chance a Player Mob will drop their armor and a 1% chance they'll drop their heads. They also spawn with an item equipped in their hand, often a weapon. Their armor and weapons are picked at random and based on earlier adventures or the players in promotional videos and images created by Mojang.
One or the Player Mobs, Efe, drops a Potion or Sensing. This potion will give you the ability to sense diamond, emerald, gold and redstone ore, along with ancient debris when you look it its direction from eight blocks or closer.


Kai

Kai spawns 20% or all skeletons in certain biomes.

Zuri

Zuri spawns 10% of all creepers. When Zuri spawns, a tamed wolf will also spawn, wearing Wolf Armor. If Zuri attacks a player, or is being attacked by a player, the wolf will fight with Zuri. Every wolf who spawns with Zuri is loyal to every Zuri.

Options

You can get to the Player Mobs options by using the Quick Actions button or via the pause menu. Currently, the only option is enabling or disabling the spawning of Player Mobs.

Bugs fixed: Merijn_G's head didn't work, Tijd4Jan's head dropped too much and Noa_nerd's Player Mob is now called 'Noa_nerd'.

A few tweaks have been made to the Twockx Player Mob Loot Table.

Changed Sorey's name in the code from 'SuperFleurNL' to 'FleruThePerson' to match his username

Added an option using '/trigger pm_options' to enable and disable the spawning of Player Mobs.

Trivia

This Datapack was a remake from a Command Block Creation I made in 2019.

This is the first Datapack where you don't need a resource pack in newer versions, but do in older ones.

The old players with player mobs were Tijd4Jan, Sorey, DeadlyRamses, Noa_nerd, Neorg, Twockx and Vamen

This is the third datapack with a huge overhaul. The first one was Revive Dead Coral, the second one More Food.

All weapons and armor worn by Player Mobs since the overhaul has been worn or held by these players in previous promotional images or videos released by Mojang, with a priority to update trailers.

The loot the Player Mobs drops is also based on their adventures, again primarily from update trailers.

None of the Player Mobs have a Silent-tag, I forgot to add that one.

Future changes for Player Mobs can include: Player Mobs being replaced by Mannequins with their own AI, Player Mobs not being agressive all the time and Player Mobs spawning in custom structures based on promotional images and videos by Mojang.
