Revive Dead Coral

Revive Dead Coral makes it so that all gray coral can be revived, without the use of a silk touch pickaxe. You only have to dig a plus-shape in the ground and fill it with gravel, place four birch trapdoors on top and place water in the middle. Then, place an oak trapdoor on top of the water. You can see how it looks in the image to the right.

If you made the build, you can drop a coral block, coral fan or coral in the water. The waiting time depends on if it's a block, a fan or a plant. Blocks take the longest, fans the shortest and plants are in between.

The command blocks with the /execute commands detect if there are certain blocks in certain places around a specific item. As soon as the Age tag reaches the amount 200, 300 or 400, an alive variant of the coral spawns and the dead coral will be destroyed.

Bugs

  1. The item floats on top of the water because of 1.13 physics.
  2. It also works if the trapdoors are being placed in different directions.
